You WILL feel confident teaching yoga to a class of Kids or Teens.

Our courses give you the practical teaching experience you need to build your confidence and deliver a fun teaching experience everytime!

You’ll learn what postures are most suitable for young people, what are not suitable and how to connect them safely to achieve your teaching aims, with benefits.

Little Greene Yoga offers a range of Yoga Teacher Training programmes to teach kids and teens aged 3 to 18 years and we’ve developed these programmes from our 24 years of teaching experience.

We learned from our mistakes so you don’t have to!

AND we also include the commercial advice on how to turn your new qualification into a successful, thriving and profitable business success!

A TRAINING course for EVERYONE!

Little Greene Yoga develops quality teacher training courses to create quality Kids & Teen Yoga instructors.

Offering just ONE yoga teacher training to teach kids and teens aged 3-18 years would be unrealistic.

Kids and teens have different different needs. Our programme content is centered on the physical and developmental life stages of each age group, enabling you to keep your students interested, motivated and returning to your classes.

You will likely find a yoga teacher training that teaches for the full age range in one programme. We believe this is a big mistake and will not equip you to successfully teach kids and teens in each age group.

Our content is based on physical and developmental life stages enabling you to keep your students interested, motivated and returning to your classes over the age ranges.

We achieve success by offering a very full syllabus, for each life stage, so you don’t have to resort to colouring in!

Lead Trainer - Veronica Greene

With over 34 years of experience teaching yoga and 14 years dedicated to training future yoga teachers, I bring a unique perspective to my programs. As a degree-qualified Electrical and Electronic Engineer, I approach yoga teacher training with the same precision and structure as developing a functional specification—blending science with the art of movement.

My training courses & classes delve far beyond learning yoga poses. They are designed to create meaningful connections between functional movement, brain development and balance.

By integrating principles of functional anatomy with an in-depth understanding of how the nervous, endocrine, and digestive systems are interconnected through the brain, I help students unlock the transformative potential of movement. Correct functional movement, when paired with a focus on these vital systems, supports a balanced body and brain.

In addition to my deep knowledge of functional anatomy, I am currently studying for a certification in FUNCTIONAL NEUROBIOLOGY. This ongoing study further informs my approach, ensuring my programs remain at the cutting edge of the science behind movement, brain development, mindfulness and holistic well-being.

My mission is to empower yoga teachers to not only teach but to truly understand the intricate connections between the body and brain—enabling them to guide their students toward profound transformation.

What People Are Saying

I am so pleased to have done this course with Veronica. She is an inspiration. Veronica was very supportive and believed in her students to enable them to achieve and pass this course. YES! It was intense and it does require your full attention for at least 12 hours a day, third day the pressure is off and you can relax in the afternoon. Loved Veronica's teaching methodology and will continue to take this forward in my own classes. She is an amazing woman with a great positive attitude and a fab sense of humour. This is shared amongst her students. Veronica will get you through. Brilliant course!”

Qualified LGY (3-8yr) & (8-12yr) Instructor, Fife

I strongly recommend any person considering a Children's Yoga Qual, and reading this review, to sign up immediately to Little Greene Yoga and learn from Veronica - you will not be disappointed! I researched various children's courses all over Europe and came back to this course time and time again before registering. Having a Practical assessment in a local Primary School and receiving constructive feedback from a Senior Yoga Teacher with years of experience is, in my opinion, GOLD! It sets this course apart from all others and has given me confidence to teach any classes. I doubt I will ever have as many kids in a class as that Practical :) Veronica is very experienced and a legend. She's a joy and inspirational. She shares her knowledge and expertise wholeheartedly in a fun, engaging and relaxed way. I have signed up for the next course already.

Fantastic course! Due to COVID restrictions the course was one line, but I couldn’t have asked for better tuition. The live dates were packed with activities, tasks and going through an enormous amount of information. I felt privileged spending the two full days with Veronica on line, she is an excellent teacher, both knowledgeable and experienced , and a great storyTeller!
